Effective Date: 17 September 2025
Last updated: 25 September 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services, platforms, and websites operated by Jankado Digital Solutions LTD, located at No. 06 Asu Rahusa Plaza, Wikki Oil Roundabout, Bauchi ("Jankado", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use our platforms.
1. Eligibility
1.1 You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use our services.
1.2 By using our platform, you warrant that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
2. Account Registration
2.1 To access certain services, you may be required to register an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login details and for all activities that occur under your account.
2.2 You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Use of Services
3.1 Our services are provided for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the platform:
In any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations
To infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
To distribute harmful, offensive, or illegal content
To engage in fraudulent or misleading practices
3.2 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the services.
4. Wallet and Financial Services
4.1 By using our payment or wallet services, you authorise Jankado and our authorised partners (including Payment Point, Paystack, Zenith Bank, and Moniepoint) to process transactions and facilitate account-related services on your behalf.
4.2 You may be required to provide additional verification information, such as your BVN or NIN, to comply with financial regulations and KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.
4.3 All financial transactions processed through our platform are subject to applicable transaction limits, fees, and verification requirements.
5. Return and Refund Policy
5.1 This Return and Refund Policy is issued in accordance with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) and the Nigerian Communications and Consumer Protection Code (ICCPC). It governs all payments, subscriptions, wallet funding, and service transactions on our platform.
5.2 All transactions made through the platform are considered final and non-refundable, except in the following circumstances:
A duplicate payment was made in error;
A technical error occurred during the transaction;
A service was not delivered as paid for due to a fault on our part;
A refund is required by law or regulatory order.
5.3 Refunds will not be issued in cases involving:
Change of mind after payment;
Voluntary closure of an account after service use;
General dissatisfaction arising from expectations not expressly stated or guaranteed.
5.4 As wallet funding and digital services are typically delivered instantly or processed in real time, refunds are generally not available once the service has been fulfilled. However, in limited cases where an error is reported before completion, we may, at our discretion, cancel or reverse the transaction.
5.5 To request a refund, you must contact our support team within 48 hours of the transaction, providing:
Your full name and contact details;
Transaction reference or receipt;
A clear explanation of the refund request.
5.6 All refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must comply with our records and transaction logs. Approval is not guaranteed.
5.7 Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 working days, and only to the original payment method (wallet, card, or bank account). No cash refunds or third-party redirection will be permitted.
5.8 If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) or other relevant regulatory authorities.
6. Third Party Services
6.1 Our platform may integrate with or link to third-party services or websites. These are provided for your convenience only.
6.2 We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or services of third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All content, trademarks, logos, designs, and intellectual property displayed on our platform are either owned by Jankado or licensed to us.
7.2 You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any part of our intellectual property without prior written consent.
8. Data Protection
8.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA). We identify an applicable lawful basis for each processing purpose; use of the platform alone does not establish consent on behalf of a person whose identity is checked.
8.2 You warrant that information you submit for verification was obtained lawfully and is accurate, and that you have the authority and applicable lawful basis to request each check. You must give any notice and obtain any consent required by law, subject to a documented lawful exception.
8.3 Where a website NIN or BVN verification succeeds and a usable identity-owner phone number is available, we ordinarily send an additional SMS alert to that number. Delivery depends on the number and the SMS provider. The alert does not include the NIN, BVN, or verification result.
8.4 An institution may request that the additional SMS alert be withheld or delayed for a defined purpose and period. No exception applies until Jankado approves the request in writing, the parties sign the Institutional Notification Exception Addendum, and the proposed checks fall within the approved scope. Corporate registration, an employee title, or a signed request alone does not qualify. Jankado may suspend or revoke approval where its conditions are not met. The institution remains responsible for the lawful basis, required notice or consent, use of the results, and evidence supporting each check. An exception does not remove the identity owner’s rights or either party’s legal duties.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jankado is not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our services, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
Loss of data, revenue, or profits to the extent caused by your own acts or omissions; or
Unauthorised access to your account to the extent caused by your failure to safeguard your credentials.
9.2 Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to our platform.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Jankado’s liability for its own breach of applicable law or agreement, negligence, security failure, or any duty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Jankado remains responsible for administering any approved notification exception within its written scope.
10. Indemnity
10.1 You agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify Jankado, its officers, affiliates, and partners against third-party claims, reasonable legal costs, and losses to the extent caused by your breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform. This does not cover loss to the extent caused by Jankado’s own breach of law or agreement, negligence, or security failure.
10.2 If an institution uses an approved identity-owner SMS exception, it will indemnify Jankado, to the extent permitted by law, against third-party claims and reasonable legal and remediation costs to the extent caused by its unauthorised checks, false assurances or documents, failure to provide legally required notice or consent, use outside the approved scope, or misuse or unauthorised disclosure of verification results. The signed Institutional Notification Exception Addendum sets out the detailed allocation and prevails in a direct conflict concerning the approved exception.
11. Termination
11.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
11.2 You may also discontinue your use of our services at any time.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
12.2 Any matter arising concerning the interpretation, validity or implementation of this Agreement not solved by mutual agreement between the Parties shall be submitted to mediation in the English language before a sole mediator to take place in Bauchi, Nigeria, unless impractical to do so. Nothing in this Agreement will be deemed as preventing Jankado from seeking injunctive relief (or any other provisional remedy) from any court having jurisdiction over the Parties and the subject matter of the dispute as is necessary to protect Jankado’s name, proprietary information, trade secrets, know-how, or any other intellectual property rights.
13. Amendments
We may modify these Terms and related policies (including, but not limited to the Privacy Policy) at any time in the future. Where this happens, we will communicate the changes to you. By continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by the latest version of these Terms. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the communicated changes.
